Dear Parents of Primary School,
As you are aware we have started with the new system of blended and online attendance. As a result there will be a few changes in how lessons take place.
Blended lessons will continue as is with Group A attending on Sunday and Monday and Group B attending on Wednesday and Thursday. The rest of the week students will receive their lessons online(pre-recorded lessons).
Fully online teaching will be a combination of pre-recorded lessons and live sessions.
We will continue with the current system of sending pre-recorded lessons for all subjects via ClassDojo. The Tuesday meeting between Teacher and Students for discussion will also take place.
In addition to this, we will also be hosting live online lessons everyday for the Online remote students. There will be a minimum of one online lesson per day (schedule will be sent once finalized) starting Sunday 27th September 2020. The live lessons will be recorded and uploaded for reference. Please note that it is the choice of both students and teachers to use the camera or not.
Due to changes stipulated by the Ministry the attendance will be as follows;
Fully online students attendance must be taken every morning before midday. A link will be sent and needs to be completed and returned before 12:00 pm.
Blended learning students: The academy management will take the attendance in school on their respective days (2days). Rest of the days, attendance must be taken every morning before midday via the link.
Should a child fail to complete attendance via link in the stipulated time, she will be marked absent.
For the Mid-term and End of term assessments, all children are required to physically attend school. The dates and schedule will be sent to you as soon as they are finalized.
