We are proud to announce that Al-Arqam Academy for girls, won the second place in the Robotics competition. They represented Qatar in the International competition for the country. The ‘Fighter’ team from Al-Arqam Academy consisted of two students, from the tenth and ninth grades. These students were Aisha Tareq Al-Mehanady and Mariam Ibrahim and they were supervised by Miss Eman Mohamad Ahmad, from the Robot and Research Department. They competed against 58 other schools that competed in this event, which is hosted by Qatar, and included competitors from all over the world. Therefore, it is a great achievement that the students at Al-Arqam Academy took second place, in what is a very competitive field.

Al-Arqam is very proud of this exceptional accomplishment that demonstrates our commitment to the vision and mission of the school. The school’s vision is inspired by Qatar’s 2030 vision of supporting scientific research, critical thinking and creativity of all students.
